Frank RavndalFrank Ravndal

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ravndal joined Keystone Foods in his current role in February 2013.

Prior to this role, Mr. Ravndal worked with Cargill, Inc. (1996 to 2012), in senior positions across several different business areas including; Financial Markets, Grain Merchandising & Trading and the Energy sector. Between 2005 and 2009, he was President of two business units covering grain merchandising and trading across Latin America. In early 2009, Mr. Ravndal moved to become President of the global Thermal Energy Supply Chain business. Mr. Ravndal was also a member of the Financial Risk Committee of Cargill, Inc. Prior to joining Cargill, Mr. Ravndal was a Partner at a financial advisory firm based in Caracas, Venezuela specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions transactions. Mr. Ravndal began his career at Bank of Boston in Boston, MA and spent eight years in different roles in the International area, most of which focused on Emerging Markets with an emphasis on Latin America.

Mr. Ravndal has served as Chairman of the Board for the Latin American Agribusiness Development Corp. (LAAD). He has also served on the Board of Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners, a non-profit organization based in Wayzata, MN. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hobart College and an M.B.A from The Pennsylvania State University. He has lived in Peru, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela and the U.S.

 

Eduardo MironEduardo Miron

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Miron joined Keystone Foods in 2013. In this role, Mr. Miron is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that enable the efficient management of global risk, information technology, taxation and finance. Additionally, he oversees all phases of corporate finance projects, including initial business development, deal execution, and final financing execution. In April 2016, Mr. Miron was named CFO of Marfrig Global Foods while retaining his role as CFO of Keystone.

Prior to this role, Mr. Miron had been at Marfrig Global Foods since 2010, where, most recently, he was in charge of Seara Foods’ financial department. He has over 30 years of experience in Finance and has held prominent positions in the Agribusiness and Financial sectors. He worked for Cargill, Inc., for 22 years where he had many assignments at Seara Alimentos, Cargill Bank, and Black River Asset Management.

Mr. Miron graduated with a degree in Accountancy from FMU/ Franciscan Universities. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Finance from Economic Sciences School of Sao Paulo (FACESP/FECAP) and a MBA from Business School Sao Paulo/ University of Toronto.

 

Dr. Richard WongDr. Richard Wong

President, Keystone APMEA – Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa

Dr. Wong joined Keystone Foods in 1989 as General Manager of McKey Food Services in China. He held the position of General Manager from 1989 to 1996. He was appointed as Chairman of McKey China Food Services in 1996 and from there was promoted to Executive Vice President for Keystone Foods Asia Pacific, overseeing the company’s various manufacturing and distribution / logistics services businesses in the region. Since then, Keystone Foods Asia Pacific has grown to include Middle East and Africa.

In his role as President, Dr. Wong is responsible for the executive level management of the Keystone Foods APMEA. This encompasses all matters related to the financial, operational and business success of the Division. Additionally, he plays a vital role in managing the relationship with key customers and business stakeholders. In his 25 years with Keystone, APMEA, Dr. Wong has been one of the main driving forces in developing the business to where it is today. This has included establishing new manufacturing facilities throughout Asia, negotiating key strategic joint venture partnerships and expanding the divisional footprint to include 5 countries, with many more markets served from these.

Dr. Wong received both his Bachelor of Food Science and Technology Degree and his Doctorate of Philosophy (Food Technology) both from Massey University, New Zealand.

  

William GriffithWilliam Griffith

President, Keystone USA

Mr. Griffith assumed the role of President of Keystone’s U.S. business in September 2016, having been promoted after 3 successful years leading Keystone’s Global Food Safety and Quality Assurance function. In this role, he is responsible for the executive level management of Keystone USA. This encompasses all matters related to the financial, operational, and business success of the Division.

Mr. Griffith has over 20 years of experience in the field of Food Safety and Quality and joined Keystone from Perdue Foods, where he most recently held the position of Vice President, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, leading these functions for the Perdue family of brands. From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Griffith served as the Vice President of Food Safety & Quality for Keystone USA, and from 2014 to 2016 as Keystone’s Global Vice President of Food Safety & Quality. Mr. Griffith also held multiple positions ranging from Sr. Microbiologist to Manager of Food Safety Technology over a ten year period with Tyson Foods.

Mr. Griffith currently serves on the Board of Directors for the North American Meat Institute and the International Advisory Board for the British Retail Consortium. He is a past Chairman of the National Chicken Council’s Technical and Regulatory committee and the National Turkey Federation’s Technical and Regulatory Committee. Mr. Griffith holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Microbiology and Chemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), in Blacksburg, Virginia.

 

Barb MastersBarb Masters

Vice President – Global Food Safety & Quality Assurance

Dr. Masters joined Keystone Foods in September of 2016 and is the global functional leader our Food Safety & Quality Assurance efforts, programs, and team. Dr. Masters is responsible for developing and executing the strategy for Global Food Safety and Quality programs, resources and customer relationships to ensure alignment with Keystone’s Vision, Mission and Values.

Dr. Masters came to Keystone with over 25 years of Food Safety experience. Most recently, she was a Senior Policy Advisor at OFW Law, where she worked with the food industry to ensure compliance with both the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Prior to her role at OFW Law, Dr. Masters spent over 16 years with USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. Throughout her tenure at FSIS, Dr. Masters emphasized communication and outreach to ensure that both industry and FSIS personnel were better prepared to carry out their food safety and food defense responsibilities.

Dr. Masters is a member of the International Association of Food Protection and the Chair of the Meat and Poultry Safety Professional Development Group. In addition, she is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and a lead instructor for the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance Preventive Controls Course. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, completed a Food Animal Internship at Kansas State University and furthered her education by taking advanced coursework in Biotechnology at Texas A&M University.

 

Karen MooneyKaren Mooney

Chief Human Resources Officer

Ms. Mooney joined Keystone Foods in August of 2016 and is the global functional leader for our Human Resource programs and team, and provides global leadership and strategic direction for the Human Resource function in support of the overall Keystone Foods business strategy.

Ms. Mooney has over 20 years of progressive Human Resources experience with strengths in the areas of Strategic HR, Talent and Organization Development, line and executive business partnership and Total Rewards. Prior to joining Keystone, Ms. Mooney spent 8 years at the Hershey Company where she held various positions of increasing authority, cumulating in the role of Vice President of HR for North America, Supply Chain & Global Functions. Ms. Mooney joined Hershey in 2008 from The Dannon Company, where she played a key role in recruiting, retaining, and developing talent for Dannon’s US business. Prior to joining Dannon in 2006, Ms. Mooney spent 10 years at Unilever, leading workforce transformations and building talent capability.

Ms. Mooney serves on the Board for the Network of Executive Women. Ms. Mooney graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and received her Juris Doctorate degree, with a concentration on Labor and Employment Law, from Pace University.

 

George GowenGeorge Gowen

General Counsel

Mr. Gowen joined Keystone in 2016.  Mr. Gowen leads the legal function across Keystone’s global organization.

Prior to joining Keystone, Mr. Gowen was a partner at law firm Cozen O’Connor, where he provided general corporate, compliance, and business litigation advice to companies in a wide range of industry sectors, including the food service industry.  Mr. Gowen also served as Vice President & Associate General Counsel at Aramark, a food and facilities services provider, where he led the legal function for two of the company’s operating groups.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Gowen worked at law firms Dechert LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore.  He also clerked for the Hon. Bruce W. Kauffman of United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Gowen earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and his Juris Doctor (J.D.), cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
